This Privacy Policy explains how KickPulses ("we", "our", the "app") collects, uses, and protects your information. By using the app you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

Account info: your email address and the display name you choose.
Content you create: votes, predictions, and any photos you upload to the lobby (admins only).
Activity data: points, ranks, coins, badges, membership status, and content you unlock.
Device token: a push-notification token (FCM) if you enable notifications.

2. How we use it

To create and secure your account, show scores and AI previews, run polls and rankings, deliver notifications, and operate membership and content features. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

We use trusted third parties to run the app:

Google Firebase (authentication, database, storage, notifications, hosting).
Apple (App Store distribution; if in-app purchases are offered, Apple processes all payments — we never receive your payment details).
Google Gemini (AI-generated match previews — built from public match facts, not your personal data).
ESPN public data (scores and schedules).

These providers process data under their own privacy policies.

4. Virtual items

Coins, points, and membership are virtual and have no real-world monetary value. The app is for entertainment and is not a gambling or betting service.

5. Data retention & deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and associated data at any time directly in the app (Profile → Delete account), or by contacting us at the email below; except where retention is legally required.

6. Children

KickPulses is not directed to children under the minimum age required by the App Store and your local law. Do not use the app if you are under that age.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures (including Firebase security rules and encryption in transit) to protect your data, but no method is 100% secure.

8. Language

This policy may be shown in other languages for convenience; the English version is the only legally binding text.

9. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
